Demise by Hugh Dryer of Watlisfeld, Thomas Cristmasse of the same, clerk, and John Dryer of Thetford, late of Wirkham Skeyth, to Robert Banham, Roger Martyn, and Thomas Berte of Watlisfeld aforesaid of 1 piece of arable land containing 1 1/2 acres in the town and fields of Watlisfeld in a furlong called "Aldefeld," bounded by the lands of the aforesaid Thomas Berte, formerly Robert Berte's, to the east, the lands of John Goodewyn to the west, and abuting on the land of the chamberlain of Bury-St-Edmunds and on the other side on the road called "Wylsykewete" to the north; which piece of land the said Hugh Dryver, Thomas Cristmasse, and John Dryver had (along of other land and tenements) of the demise of John Goodwyn, John Metewyn, both deceased, and Robert Costyn, who survives, by a charter dated 16 November, 30 Henry VI; and which piece of land (together with others) William Jenney of Knattyshate, John Andrew of Deylham, John Asshfeld, esq., William Bakere of Westhorp, John Shreve of Watlisfeld aforesaid and William Fuller of Wlasham released to the said Hugh on 22 September, 2 Edward IV. Given at Watlisfeld on 14 January,8 Edward IV.
